Literature is also prolific and widely available, as well as digital archiving software users and developers and access to communities of digital archivists. There are also programs that provide for sponsored, external expert assistance for CSOs in the process of building a digital archive. Such experts can not only guide the organization’s staff in developing the archive, but also provide training and later assistance as long-term consultants with in-depth knowledge of the archive.
